This is a pretty good rundown of Peru’s seasons…in the Cusco and mountain area. However, the writer forgot to add the best month of the year for Peru, January.

January is summer vacation, and everyone in the know in Lima, Trujillo and other cities heads for the North Coast.

Mancora, Punta Sal, Vichayitos, and Los Organos are THE places to be on the beach to see and be seen, party, and just enjoy the surf, sun, and somnolence of the tropical coast of N. Peru. Try it, you’ll love it!

Great ideas for baby shower gifts. I’d add that if buying baby clothes, get something that’s too big for now, but that baby will grow in to in a few months. Believe me, babies get a LOT of beautiful clothes, and often don’t get a chance to wear them all!

Good points here. I think it is worth emphasising that ‘intimacy’ for men is different from ‘intimacy’ for women. For men intimacy means sex, for women the situation is much more complicated. A man can create the intimacy his partner needs by simply listening to her and empathising with her, rather than trying to solve her problems. Little words like ‘Yes’, ‘Really’ ‘Aha’ are invaluable, and asking a woman how she feels, then simply listening to the answer, go a long way to her providing her need for intimacy. Then a hug and an ‘I love you’, and the man has done his bit today towards creating a more intimate relationship.

We like to camp. Then do small hikes from the camp site. So we are not as limited in size and weight in what we bring with us. I have started always packing this laundry drying rack. It is great for drying things that have gotten wet in the rain and even for just airing out clothes that have become damp with perspiration. This is so handy for the way we camp.

Thank you for the explanation and we let us hope the best. We always enjoyed working with Mathcad and we would be pleased to see the number of Mathcad user to expand, but a working website is one of the fundamental requirement of a steady user group. We are sure that the technical hiccup will be addressed very shortly by PTC web team, in short we still believe that Mathcad rocks!!!

The PTC web team is aware of the issue and they are currently troubleshooting it. It’s not a design issue, per se, but rather a technical hiccup. Certainly we want people to learn about the products, so we don’t consider that to be dodgy activity.

Images from satellites such as LANDSAT have been available since 1973. The various types of satellite use scanners as their sensors and these are either multi spectral scanners (MSS), or thematic mappers (TM). The sensors send their images down for subsequent processing and today deliver very good quality. They are not, however, of air camera standard, and are mainly used for geological, meteorological, and earth resources interpretation. Although satellite images can be used for making maps, they are not as accurate as air camera maps, but are good enough for military usage at 1:25, 000 scale, and for large-area mapping of deserts etc. Satellites are invaluable for the mapping of inaccessible terrain or, by the use of radar, through total cloud coverage.

As it is not to be answered easily! Bentley System doesn’t really promote its price range to its potential customers, perhaps it is always negotiable depending on the client requirements.

We never bought PowerDraft neither for our own nor for our company’s use. We personally assume that the latest AutoCAD LT 2010 is a good indicator for the price as the capabilities of that product somehow correspondence to the PowerDraft.

Should you like to address your question to a better-informed audiance there is an excellent group on LinkedIn called Microstation. Everyone with a genuine interest in this product can join in, and I am sure that Varthan, the group moderator will be happy to help you out with any sort of MicroStation related enquiries.

At this stage we do not know any certainties regarding the SolidWorks beta program, we assume that it will be released on a similar way as it happened last year and active subscribers will receive an email notification. Hence, you should have an active subscription contract with SolidWorks and when you logged-in to your account you need to tick the box next to “Notify me for Beta Programs” under “My profile” tab. You can access the customer portal through the link we provided in the original posting where you can open, access or set-up your account.
